Stephen McQuaid Runs the Dublin City Marathon for Andrew
On Sunday, October 27th, Stephen McQuaid took on the incredible challenge of the Dublin City Marathon, running it in an outstanding time of 3 hours and 54 minutes all in support of his cousin, Andrew.
Stephen’s effort was not just a remarkable personal achievement but a powerful act of solidarity. Every mile reflected the determination, courage, and endurance that Andrew himself continues to show each day in his recovery.
In Stephen’s words:
“Andrew has always been someone who quietly inspires people around him — through his strength, kindness, and humility. Running the marathon for him felt like one small way to give back and to keep his spirit moving forward.”
Family, friends, and supporters cheered Stephen on from the sidelines and across the country, uniting in admiration for both his dedication and Andrew’s ongoing resilience.
We’re deeply grateful to Stephen for his commitment and to everyone who donated, shared, or offered encouragement along the way.
